    "textoCompleto" => "<span class="elsevierStyleSections"><p id="par0005" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">We have read the article &#8220;Bioethical challenges in clinical practice of the 20th century&#8221;&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0005"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">1</span></a> The content of the article highlights the imperative need to integrate bioethics as an essential part of contemporary clinical practice&#44; proposing the introduction of bioethics consultants for real-time advice&#44; especially in complex situations that generate value conflicts&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0010"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">2</span></a> Our purpose is to contribute to the enrichment of the academic debate in the field of bioethics in relation to the transplant process and the ethical aspects of informed consent&#46;</p><p id="par0010" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Advances in transplants have generated numerous ethical considerations&#46; From the selection of donors and recipients to the equity of the organ&#46; In Chile&#44; with the implementation of the Organ Donation and Transplantation Law &#40;Law No&#46; 19&#44;451&#41;&#44; the Public Health Institute and transplant ethics committees play a crucial role in contributing to supervision and guaranteeing fair allocations&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#bib0015"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">3</span></a></p><p id="par0015" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall">Bioethics consultants&#44; as suggested in the article&#44; would be crucial in these instances to help both medical professionals and patients and their families navigate these complex processes&#46; Consultants could offer real-time advice and support clinical decision-making that respects the patient&#39;s values &#8203;&#8203;and preferences&#44; while maintaining clinical practices within an ethical and legal framework&#46; Also&#44; to improve the quality of care in informed consent and transplant situations&#44; it is essential the continuous development of hospital policies and health systems that support ethical practices&#44; continuing education in bioethics for all health professionals&#44; and effective and compassionate communication with patients and family &#40;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRef" href="#fig0005">Fig&#46; 1</a>&#41;&#46;<a class="elsevierStyleCrossRefs" href="#bib0020"><span class="elsevierStyleSup">4&#44;5</span></a></p><elsevierMultimedia ident="fig0005"></elsevierMultimedia><span id="sec1045" class="elsevierStyleSection elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleSectionTitle" id="sect1055">Funding</span><p id="par0190" class="elsevierStylePara elsevierViewall"><span class="elsevierStyleGrantSponsor" id="gs1">Universidad de la Frontera</span>&#44; proyect <span class="elsevierStyleGrantNumber" refid="gs1">DI22-0036</span>&#46;</p></span></span>"
